If you live in Lexington then you may have spotted one of its most obscure cars out on the city streets. Depending on your stance, this car could be described as awful, or amazing. One thing for sure is that it’s certainly unique.
This week, it was photographed and shared on social media while parked in the Sav’s car park. Here, the vehicle was adorned with lots of toys, artwork, and even had CD’s attached to the wheels. Upon closer inspection, it also looks as though the owner is a fan of The Simpsons and Star Wars, whose characters where spotted on the side of the car.
Understandably, this car gained plenty of attention, with many locals praising its quirky design. However, not everyone was happy as some pointed out that it was actually a safety hazard. This could be due to the giant mermaid which blocks a certain amount of vision from the rear view. However, it looks as though the law are ok with this (for now at least) as the car has been sighted for months on end and is still yet to remove the large sea creature.
Overall, this highlights the unusual side of cars in Lexington. Typically, this sort of behavior is commonly found in cities such as Houston.
